The key aims of the Heaven2earth project were as follows:
 

OPPORTUNITY
To provide an opportunity for school children to participate in the recording of a
professionally recorded Christmas CD and music DVD, and to perform in live concerts.

UNITY
To bring schools in the area together with a unifying focus.

FUND RAISING
To raise awareness and money for tearfund, a charity working with children in third world countries.

SPIRITUAL
To encourage children to think about the real message of Christmas.

The main focus age range for the children involved was key stage 2 (school years 3 - 6 inclusive, ages 7 - 11) 
though several high school children were involved helping in the music and dance.

As well as organising the 'nuts and bolts' of the project outside of school,
the team were involved within the schools, taking assemblies
and helping with teaching the songs where needed.
